Hello!

Hello!

My name is Katy and I am a performance maker working with live art and contemporary performance.

I make performance because I believe in its powerful potential to alter our every day reality in strange and uplifting ways. I seek to actively involve risk and chance in what I make driven by a process-led practice.

I work with real situations, personal histories, social experiment and a curiosity about what happens in the live moment of performance. Sometimes this has looked like wandering the streets of a city as a rat, re-enacting Britney's 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' dance, meeting climate catastrophe with karaoke or submerging a brass band in a public swimming pool.
